For tilers

Quoting software built for tiling

Bathroom, kitchen or hallway — describe the surfaces and the tile choice, and you get a quote where waterproofing, setting and grouting are clearly itemised.

01Sound familiar?

The quoting that steals time from the actual job

Wet rooms need watertight quotes

Bathroom jobs with waterproofing are what customers scrutinise hardest — and where disputes are most expensive. A quote that clearly itemises the waterproofing and the industry standards it follows builds trust.

The tile choice changes everything

Mosaic takes longer than 60×60. Large format needs different preparation. The quote has to reflect the real labour time of the tile choice — otherwise you pay the difference yourself.

Jobs shared with other trades

Tiling is often part of a larger bathroom renovation where plumbing and electrics have to be coordinated. Clear boundaries in the quote — what is included and what is not — save arguments.

02How it works

Describe the job — review the quote

You say or type

"Fully tiled bathroom, 5.5 sqm floor, walls around 22 sqm, the existing tiles come off, new waterproofing, the customer has chosen 30x60 on the walls and 15x15 on the floor, falls to the gully adjusted."

Under a minute later you have

  • Line items for strip-out, waterproofing, building the falls, wall and floor setting, and grouting
  • Labour hours matched to the tile format and the areas — materials separate
  • ROT on the labour and a clear scope the customer can sign digitally

You always review and adjust the quote before it goes out — the AI suggests, you decide.

03ROT deduction

ROT is calculated automatically — and correctly

Tiling in the customer’s home — bathroom, kitchen, hallway — normally qualifies for ROT, the Swedish tax deduction on labour for home renovation. The deduction covers the labour cost including the waterproofing work, not the tiles and adhesive. Bliqat keeps them apart automatically and shows the customer’s price after the deduction.

04FAQ

Common questions from tilers

Does the quote account for different tile formats?

Yes — describe the tile choice and the areas and it is reflected in the labour hours. Mosaic, large format and standard format are priced differently, and you can adjust before the quote goes out.

Can I itemise the waterproofing separately?

Yes. The waterproofing sits as its own clear line item — it is often exactly what the customer wants to see in writing before a wet room job.

What happens when I strip out and find problems?

You create a variation (ÄTA, the Swedish term for changes and additions) from the original quote — replacing rotten floor chipboard after finding damp, for instance — priced in line with the quote and approved digitally by the customer before you carry on.
