How long before I can send my first quote?

Minutes. You create an account, fill in your company details and describe your first job in the chat. You don't have to set up a price list first.

Do I have to enter all my prices up front?

No. Start writing quotes straight away — Bosse works from the industry standard times until he knows better. Every time you correct a price, he remembers it for next time.

How do you actually start?

You write one sentence. "Bathroom at Storgatan 4, 14 m² of tile, new toilet." That's the whole home screen — no dashboard to figure out, no template to pick.

What is Bosse, really?

A colleague who's plugged into the firm. He can see your quotes, customers, articles, invoices and hours — and he works in them when you ask. He doesn't just draft suggestions, he carries things out.

What can I ask him to do?

Price up a quote, adjust individual lines, change the template and colours on the PDF, email it for signing, chase the customer, create a work order, draft an invoice, record a payment, raise an hourly rate, put a markup on a whole article category. He'll also tell you how the firm is doing: what's out, what's overdue, what a job returned per hour, what you usually charge for that kind of work.

Can he change things without me noticing?

No. Anything touching prices, customers or invoices comes back as a proposal with a summary, and nothing's written until you say yes. Bosse proposes, you decide.

What if he gets the numbers wrong?

Accepted Answer

He flags what he's unsure about and spells out his assumptions, so you can see what needs a second look before the customer gets the quote. And you can always ask him why he priced it the way he did.

Does the voice input work in Swedish?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and in real Swedish — trade terms and dialect included. You can talk the job in, answer Bosse's follow-up questions and say what you want changed at review. He reads the answer back so you don't have to look at the screen.

Does he get better over time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. He learns from your corrections, and you can write your own house rules for him to follow — the things that are obvious at your firm but nowhere else.

Do I have to use my voice?

No. You can type in the chat, talk the job in or photograph the site — whichever suits the moment. If you do use your voice it works the whole way through: change line items and prices, answer follow-up questions, dictate a variation.

How does the customer get the quote?

As an email with a personal link. They open it on their phone — no app, no account — and see the whole quote with the preliminary ROT deduction already worked out.

How does the customer accept?

By signing with BankID, Sweden's digital ID. So it's a real signature rather than a click, which means you've got something to stand on if there's a disagreement later. You can see when the quote's been opened and when it's been signed.

Can the customer tell you what they think?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If they turn it down they get a box for an optional comment — that usually tells you more about why you didn't get the job than a silent no does.

What does the quote look like?

Like your company, not like a system. The logo, colours, fonts and template are yours — and you can ask Bosse to change them mid-chat: hide a line from the customer's PDF, move the assumptions up, add a section of your own.

Does Bliqat work out ROT?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The preliminary ROT deduction — Sweden's tax break on renovation labour — is worked out automatically: 30% of the labour cost including VAT, against the annual cap of SEK 50,000 per person. Bosse can also tell you how much ROT a customer has already used with you this year, before you promise anything.

What happens once the quote is signed?

The job can become a work order with the tasks and hours pulled from the quote, and the invoice draft is built from the same case. So you never key the same numbers in a second time.

How are variations handled?

Accepted Answer

As their own part of the same job, with their own signing and their own lines on the invoice. The change ends up where it belongs instead of on a loose note.

Do the ROT hours on the invoice match the quote?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The hours are frozen as they stood when the customer accepted, so the invoice shows the same figure the quote did. If reality changes, it's you who decides that the numbers should change too.

Can I send the invoice from Bliqat?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The invoice is emailed to the customer with a PDF and a public invoice view, you send the chasers from here, record payments and can issue a credit note. Staged and periodic part-invoicing is there too, along with the ROT top-up invoice once the tax authority's share comes in.

Can Bliqat connect to my bookkeeping?

Yes, to Fortnox. The invoice is pushed across with the ROT details, customers can be imported, and payments recorded in Fortnox are read back so the status matches in both systems. Bliqat doesn't do the bookkeeping itself — that's what the accounting system is for.

Is there time reporting?

Accepted Answer

Not in production today. If internal time reporting or a staff attendance register is a requirement for you, you need a tool that has it — we would rather say so now than after you have paid.

What does it cost?

From SEK 990 a month for one user. The price covers the whole company and climbs slower than your headcount — ten users comes to SEK 4,500 a month, so SEK 450 each. Prices are excluding VAT.

No. The full price list is out in the open on the pricing page — pick the number of users and the billing interval and see the figure. You don't have to hand over a phone number to work out what we cost.
