For roofing companies
Quoting software built for roofing
A re-roof, sheet metal or roof safety — describe the roof while you are standing on it, and a complete quote is waiting when you climb down.
01Sound familiar?
The quoting that steals time from the actual job
Large sums need trust
A re-roof is often the biggest trade purchase a customer makes in decades. A fast, detailed, professional quote is what makes them comfortable saying yes to you.
Scaffolding, skips, phases
Roofing jobs carry big surrounding costs that have to be itemised: scaffolding, a skip, a lift. Forget them in the quote and you pay for them out of your own pocket.
The weather decides — the quote has to keep up
If rot turns up under the old tiles mid-job, the addition needs documenting and approving fast — before the rain comes. Verbal agreements do not hold.
02How it works
Describe the job — review the quote
You say or type
"Re-roofing a 160 sqm pitched roof, concrete tiles replaced with new ones, new underlay and battens, replacing around 15 metres of bargeboard, scaffolding all round the house, a skip for the stripped material."
Under a minute later you have
- Line items for strip-out, underlay, battens, tiles, flashings and bargeboards — plus scaffolding and the skip
- Materials and labour separated, ROT calculated on the labour
- A variation flow ready if rotten decking turns up during the strip-out
You always review and adjust the quote before it goes out — the AI suggests, you decide.
03ROT deduction
ROT is calculated automatically — and correctly
Roofing work on the customer’s home — re-roofing, repairs, roof safety — normally qualifies for ROT, the Swedish tax deduction on labour for home renovation. The deduction covers the labour, not the tiles, the underlay or the scaffolding hire. Bliqat works out the split automatically and shows the customer’s price after the deduction.
04FAQ
Common questions from roofing companies
How are scaffolding and the skip handled in the quote?
As their own clear line items. The customer sees exactly what the surrounding costs are, and you never forget them in the costing.
What happens when we find rot under the tiles?
You create a variation (ÄTA, the Swedish term for changes and additions) straight from the roof — talk the find in out loud, attach photos, send it for digital approval. The customer answers from the sofa and you can carry on working the same day.
Does the customer get ROT on a re-roof?
The labour cost normally qualifies — a 30 % deduction, capped at SEK 50,000 per person per year. On big roofing jobs that cap is often reached, and Bliqat shows exactly how much the customer can claim.
