For flooring companies
Quoting software built for flooring
Parquet, click flooring or sanding — say the square metres and the conditions, and Bliqat works out a complete quote while you finish measuring.
01Sound familiar?
The quoting that steals time from the actual job
Square metre prices with a lot of ifs and buts
The same floor area can cost wildly different amounts depending on the subfloor, the strip-out, thresholds and skirting. Getting every condition into the quote is what separates profit from loss.
Small jobs, many quotes
Flooring work is often smaller projects — which means more quotes per week than most trades. Ten quotes at 30 minutes each is a full working day nobody pays for.
Materials are half the deal
Flooring ranges from budget laminate to solid oak. The quote has to separate the material choice from the labour so the customer can choose — and so the ROT deduction lands correctly.
02How it works
Describe the job — review the quote
You say or type
"Laying 14 mm oak parquet, 62 sqm across the living room and hallway, the existing vinyl comes up, the subfloor will probably need sanding, new skirting all round."
Under a minute later you have
- Line items for strip-out, subfloor work, laying and skirting — per square metre where that fits
- Materials and labour separated so the customer sees what the floor choice costs
- ROT calculated on the labour, with the customer’s price after the deduction visible straight away
You always review and adjust the quote before it goes out — the AI suggests, you decide.
03ROT deduction
ROT is calculated automatically — and correctly
Floor laying and floor sanding in the customer’s home normally qualify for ROT, the Swedish tax deduction on labour for home renovation. Bliqat calculates the deduction on the labour cost automatically — the material, the floor itself, does not qualify, and the quote handles that split for you.
04FAQ
Common questions from flooring companies
Does Bliqat price per square metre?
Yes, where that is natural. Put the area in the description and laying, sanding and strip-out are priced from it — and you can adjust the quantity and price per line before the quote goes out.
How are different material choices handled?
Materials sit as their own line items, separate from the labour. If the customer upgrades from laminate to parquet you change the material line — labour and ROT are recalculated automatically.
Is quoting software worth it for small jobs?
It is on the small, frequent jobs that the time saving is biggest. If you send eight quotes a week and save 25 minutes on each, that is over three hours — every week.
